Investment Solutions provides investors with access to what it regards as the best global investment managers.  In selecting these managers, the company is assisted by Russell Investment Group, State Street Global Advisors, EIM, Prudential, Orbis and Investment Solutions Fund Managers.  Prudential is used as a global asset-allocation adviser.

Russell Investment Group is the global leader in multi-manager investing, managing 20%1 of all global multi-manager assets.  It has over $171 billion in assets under management and guides the investment of over $2.4 trillion in investors' assets.  For almost 35 years, the company has researched investment managers and markets to build robust multi-manager portfolios that deliver consistent outperformance.  Each fund is managed by a carefully selected team of leading investment specialists identified by Russell as outstanding in their particular market.

State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) is an industry leader with $1.5 trillion in assets under management. The company focuses on delivering investment strategies and integrated solutions to institutional and private investors worldwide.

The world's largest institutional investment manager and leader in several other investment rankings, SSgA has operations in nine investment centres and 28 offices worldwide.

Founded in 1992, EIM is a pioneer in delegated investment management.  The company independently identifies, evaluates, selects and allocates capital to hedge-fund managers through individually tailor-made fund-of-funds portfolios using its research team, which is one of the largest and most experienced in the industry.  EIM, which has over $8.5 billion in discretionary mandates, has offices in Nyon (Geneva), Zurich, New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Monaco and Gibraltar.

Prudential is one of the world's largest financial service companies. Founded in 1848 to offer life assurance, it has developed into an international group meeting the savings and retirement needs of over 10 million people across Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Prudential has $4300 billion of investors' funds under management through its investment teams. A specialist area of the company's expertise is asset allocation, managed by a dedicated team (the portfolio management group) within the London office.

Orbis, which provides investment management services to institutions and individuals, uses its own research to select equities priced significantly below their intrinsic value. It believes a focused portfolio of such equities will deliver superior long-term returns with less risk of loss than the average equity portfolio. In 1988, Allan Gray and his son William, now president of the Orbis Group, opened a global investment advisory firm in London. Bermuda-based Orbis Investment Management Limited was established in 1989, and the first three Orbis mutual funds launched on 1 January 1990. Orbis has increased the initial assets under management from $67 million to about $12 billion.

Investment Solutions in the UK offers a wide range of funds that can be combined to match a client’s risk/return profile. A skilled, experienced team conducts investment-manager research covering over 150 UK managers, which are visited regularly to monitor developments, progress, staff changes etc. Two funds were recently added to the range that targets significantly higher returns -- the Select UK Equity and Select Global Equity Funds. These funds give clients the opportunity to target greater outperformance from their equity assets. In conjunction with its SA parent, the company has developed leading-edge proprietary systems that are believed to be far ahead of what many competitors use, enabling rigorous analysis and examination to be conducted.
